Things falling apart is a kind of testing and also a kind of healing. We think that the point is to pass the test or to overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don’t really get solved. They come together and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It’s just like that. The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.” ~ Pema Chödrön
Have you allowed yourself the room to digest the mix of grief, relief, misery and joy so that you can open for the healing to take place? Coming together with what is, where exactly is it that you sit right now?
We have all been tested over these last six months with covid. It has been a collective suffering, but it's now up to our individual selves to allow that falling apart, that letting go and the coming together again to make room for new beginnings.
My mat has been that constant sacred place for me to do the unravelling, to heal the myriad of emotions and feelings that I have been experiencing over that time. It takes ongoing work to loosen that grip, a gentle process of undoing and the building of faith. It is starting to feel like the time to throw open those doors for that something new to arrive.
A regular practice of maintenance and self care helps us to show up, check in, move through the spots where we feel the most stuck to allow our energy, the prana to flow. Arriving at a place where we feel clear and fully present to every potential that is waiting on the horizon.
We have been gifted a blank canvas full of unlimited potential and possibilities and now we must go paint it. Time to get to work, make it beautiful, inspire yourself and others, be an example, give hope, make others want to contribute to their own wellness and wellbeing and together we work towards making a greater positive impact in this new world.
Go in peace
Love Dani
